Accounts Payable Supervisor

Your new company Hays Accountancy & Finance are exclusively partnering with a rapidly growing and successful technology group to recruit a dynamic and driven Accounts Payable Superivsor.
Based in their Cheltenham, Gloucestershire office with remote/office hybrid working, this is a newly created role reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller.
Leading and managing the AP team across various business units located nationally, the position will ensure timely and accurate payment of supplier invoices, building relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders, along with process/system improvements and streamlining.

This role is open to Senior Accounts Payable Clerks who are looking for a step up and development into a management role.
Supervisory experience would be beneficial but not essential.
Your new role Your key duties will involve building, leading and mentoring a centralised accounts payable team, including performance evaluations, training sessions, providing feedback and skill set development.
You will oversee the full cycle of accounts payable processes from invoice verification, coding, approval, and payments.
