The Role: As an Accounts Payable Specialist , you will be an integral part of a dedicated team, supporting the wider finance department.
Your key responsibilities include: Receipt of Invoices: Log and manage invoices, ensuring accurate data entry, including VAT and additional charges.
Distinguish between invoices and credit notes in the finance system.
Invoice Approval: Conduct a 3-way match for invoice approvals, routing invoices to the appropriate managers.
Align invoices with Goods Received and Purchase Order records for system entry.
Problem Solving: Collaborate with internal business managers and external suppliers to resolve any invoice discrepancies swiftly and efficiently.
What You'll Bring: Experience in purchase invoice processing or a similar accounts role.
Proficiency in Windows-based accounting systems, with familiarity in using software like Spirit 1 and E1.
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
An ability to handle high volumes of transactions accurately, with a strong understanding of VAT rules.
