Accounts Payable Clerk

Accounts Payable Clerk 12 to 15 month FTC Sutton Coldfield Up to £28,000 Start Date 2025 GRG are excited to be partnering with a well established organisation, looking for an Accounts Payable individual on a maternity cover contract.
Key responsibilities: Processing a high-volume amount of invoices, matching these invoices with purchase order numbers.
Reconciling supplier statements.
Resolving invoice queries.
Assisting with costing reviews on a quarterly basis.
Reviewing aged creditors and working with the Head of Finance to reduce these.
Liaising with the Head of Finance to review invoices that could be posted as accruals and prepayments, chasing details when information is missing.
Supporting with other areas such as sales ledger, treasury, management accounts, analysis, etc.
Other ad-hoc support to the Head of Finance.
Candidate Attributes and Skills: Have previously worked within an Purchase Ledger role, with a minimum of ideally 12 months.
Have the opportunity to take on an exciting, in depth amount of Purchase Ledger experience which will provide exposure to more senior responsibilities - allowing you to grow!
