Accounts Payable Assistant

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant on a 6 months temporary basis.
This is a hybrid role working three days in the Darlington office and the rest from home.
This role is Monday to Friday.
There is an option to work more hours Monday to Thursday to finish around 2pm on a Friday!
Working hours are either: 08:00 - 16:00, 08:30 - 16:30, or 09:00 - 17:00.
Our client who is a leading manufacturing company are looking for someone with a background in accounts or finance.
Duties include: Match PO's for direct and indirect purchases into system Escalate queries for resolution Correct any credit notes or VAT invoices Investigate any Accounts Payable queries Answer queries from internal and external customers relating to invoices and payments or general queries via telephone and email delivering exceptional customer service Completing Statement reconciliations Ensure SOX document processed is followed and prepare for audits Reach SLA targets Support projects, testing and improvements Data entry on AP Systems About you: Accounts payable experience Flexible approach Team player Strong customer service This role pays £14.77ph.
