We are working with an excellent client based in Leyland who are looking for an Accounts Manager to join them in this newly created role.
The business is a friendly family-owned organisation and has a close-knit team to work alongside, so we need someone who can work flexibly and be a support on anything associated with finance!
Your duties as Accounts Manager will include: - Management of the accounts department on a day-to-day basis to provide accurate and up to date financial reporting both at month end and year end.
Manage all the ledger processing, nominal allocation and associated month end reconciliations.
Monitor the daily cashflow and bank position, providing accurate forecasting of the cashbook.
Main point of contact for the project purchasing and liaising with suppliers.
Produce the monthly WIP report and monitor any cost variances In charge of the sales ledger and credit control processes, building effective relationships with customers and internal sales for timely collection.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting process across the business to monitor expenditure.
Work closely with the sales team and monitor activity and successes.
Assist with the stock management and warehouse personnel with all deliveries and inventory movements.
This is an all-encompassing role but one that will give you lots of autonomy and job satisfaction, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the accounts function and support to the projects being undertaken.
Already you will have a good eye for detail and some commercial acumen within a small organisation ideally with an AAT qualification (although not essential), yet be able to demonstrate a solid background in the monthly reporting of the numbers.
