Accounts Asssistant

TPF Recruitment is working on behalf of a great local firm of Chartered Accountants based in Maidstone who are looking for an Accounts Asssistant to join their team in a general practice position across accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT.
Our client is a multi-sited firm of chartered accountants and they have been established in the Kent market for many years.
They're looking for either a part qualified Semi Senior or Somebody who is qualified, or studying the AAT, ACCA or ACA to join them in a progressive and rewarding career.
You will have lots of autonomy and our client will provide study support if required.
You will be responsible for: Preparation of statutory accounts to review stage Assisting with management accounts production Personal taxation, corporate taxation and VAT returns General bookkeeping duties using Sage, Xero or  QuickBooks Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees Requirements You will have 2-5 years experience within an accountancy practice You will be AAT / ACA/ ACCA qualified or part qualified or qualified by experience You will have hands on experience of accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT preparation Benefits £25,000 - £35,000 per annum dependent on experience and background, negotiable 33 days Annual leave Auto enrolment pension Onsite parking Please apply for the vacancy or contact Tristan Finch for a confidential conversation 01227 533 007
