Accounts Assistant

My client is hiring an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team in Stockton-on-Tees on a full-time, permanent basis.
In this role, you will support the finance team by assisting with daily financial operations and ensuring smooth accounting processes.Key Responsibilities:Processing invoices using SageAssisting with the management of Sales Ledger and Purchase LedgerSupporting bank reconciliationsAssisting with weekly and monthly payroll processingHelping with the preparation of monthly accountsAssisting in the preparation of financial statementsSupporting the completion of VAT returnsProviding administrative support to the Financial Controller, including assisting with year-end accounts preparationEssential Skills:Strong Excel skillsExperience using SageProven experience in an accounting or finance roleAdditional Information:Hours: 8am-5pm (42.5 hours per week)Hybrid working options (discussed individually)25 days holiday plus bank holidays4% pension contributionFree on-site parkingIf you're passionate about finance and want to make a real impact in a dynamic company, we'd love to hear from you!
