Accounts Assistant Location - Skelmersdale Hours of work - 37.5 - Monday – Friday Salary £26.000 Ideal Recruit is on the look out for an Accounts Assistant for our client based in Skelmersdale.
You will be responsible for assisting the finance team in managing transactional activities within the Purchase and Sales Ledger & reporting to the Accounts Payable supervisor.
Maintaining and reconciling the purchase ledger Assist and support with any Supplier queries Create new supplier records/details on Sage Purchase invoice processing Sales invoice processing Liaise with staff at all levels across the business to achieve monthly targets Ensure month end report deadlines are achieved in a timely manner Any additional support and ad hoc duties required in addition to supporting the wider accounts and Head Office administration function Essential Skills: IT literacy in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with a key focus on intermediate skillset for Excel Excellent administration and organisational skills Good numeracy skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail Well organised Efficient and able to work to tight deadlines Previous skills in Accounts or Billing Desirable Skills: Knowledge of Sage 500 AAT level 2/3/4 (or working towards) This role is Temporary to Permanent This list is not exhaustive, and the successful position holder may be required to carry out any task which the Company might reasonably require you to do.
