Accounts Assistant

Accounts Assistant Telford Permanent 37.5 hours per week £24,000 - £27,000 per annum Our successful, Telford based client are looking for an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.
The position is mainly responsible for sales ledger and credit control, but the role will also include some general accounts support.
You will be responsible for: * Sales ledger and general administrative duties * Allocate all cash receipts * Raising sales invoices, applications and credit notes * New Customer accounts set up including Experian credit checks and monitoring * SAP maintenance * Deferred sales * Intercompany billing * KPI Reporting on Sales and Service works * Job costings * Aged debtors and debtor days monitoring * Assisting with Month End Management Reporting * Weekly debtors update meetings * Monitor sales ledger mailbox and deal with customer requests and queries * Other reasonable administrative duties * Cover for purchase ledger Skills and Experience The successful candidate will need experience of working in a similar role.
You will need to be a confident communicator and comfortable talking with customers on the phone and email.
