Accounts Assistant

Accounts Assistant Industry:  Agriculture Location:  Cowes Hours:  20 hours per week ( flexible during office hours) Days:  (Monday - Friday) Duration:  Permanent Duties: Responsible for processing both Sales and Purchase Ledgers including: Raising invoices, statements, allocations and credit control (where required), Processing invoices, supplier payments and account reconciliations.
Assisting with processing VAT, Assisting with processing payroll and PAYE, Assisting with monthly, quarterly and year end reports.
Experience: Must have previous accounting experience and a good level of computer literacy including Excel and Xero.
Must have a minimum of AAT Level 3 qualifications.
Must have strong level of numeracy, excellent attention to detail plus the ability to work to deadlines as part of a small team, as well as on own initiative.
Relevant accounting qualifications are advantageous.
