Accounts Assistant

NXTGEN is excited to be partners with the a UK leader in its industry as they look to recruit and accounts assistant.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company as an Accounts Assistant, reporting directly to the Finance Director.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will take on a varied role, supporting the finance team with key responsibilities, including assisting with month-end reporting, you'll work with a friendly and supportive team, contributing to meaningful work that makes a difference in people's lives.
Key Responsibilities: Credit control, ensuring effective debt management.
Maintain purchase and sales ledgers, including posting invoices and matching receipts.
Prepare supplier payments in a timely manner.
Assist the Finance Director with accounts administration tasks.
Perform daily bank reconciliation's.
Respond to general queries, both internally and externally.
Support month-end reporting processes.
Additional Duties: Filing and general administrative tasks.
Managing inbound and outbound telephone calls.
Responding to emails and directing them to the relevant departments.
