Accounts Assistant

The Business This manufacturing business, based in Accrington, is part of a group with a high turnover from their manufacturing facilities worldwide.
The company is seeking a motivated and experienced Accounts Assistant to assist the wider finance team, who can be open and flexible to assist with all sides of accounts function.
They are looking for a candidate who will fit in easily within the finance team with a strong understanding of accounting principles, who is able to pick things up quickly and work in a fast paced environment.
The business have a strong, supportive, friendly finance team who have all been within their current positions for a number of years so a candidate who will fit into the team well with the same values is essential.
Due to a recent restructure within the business there is a lot of opportunity within the finance team for progression and they may be open to study support for the right candidate.
Role details As a business they are wanting a progressive all-round transactional, accounts assistant who is wanting to gain more exposure who can assist with a bit of everything within the accounts function.
The main focus of the role will be on the end to end Purchase and Sales Ledger and will not include much Credit Control as generally invoices are paid on time.
Benefits The role will see you earning a salary of up to £30k depending on experience, along with multiple company benefits including an early finish on a Friday.
