Accounts Assistant

Nixon McQuade are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a new and rapidly growing business in Belfast.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to support the finance department and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and thriving environment.
The Role: Assist with processing invoices, payments, and expenses.
Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and reconciliations.
Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger entries.
Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry and filing.
Help with VAT returns and other financial compliance tasks.
The Person: Previous experience in an accounts or finance role.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
