Accounts Assistant | Immediate Start

We are partnered with a market leader in asset rental and sales in construction, who are going through a period of positive transformation following successful investment.

As one of the largest dealers in equipment rental and sales across the UK and Europe, they now need a proactive and dynamic Accounts Assistant to support the business growth and develop their skills within a supportive and high performing team.

We need someone to join the business with an immediate start on a temp to perm basis.

Key Responsibilities: Manage credit card reconciliations, expenses and invoicing, maintaining accurate records.
Checking monthly and daily reconciliations - identifying any discrepancies.
Build relationships with supplier and customer accounts, solve overdue invoices and support with any queries.
Assist the preparation of journals, prepayments and accruals to support month-end.
Identify any opportunities to improve current processes and improve efficiencies.
Work cohesively across different business units to support smooth financial operations.
Process payroll submissions.
Prepare financial reports, including variance analysis.
To Be Successful: Actively working towards ACCA, CIMA or AAT.
Skilled in MS Excel and accounting software.
Natural problem solver who can prioritise effectively.
Ability to maintain accuracy working at high-volume.
Strong analytical mindset.
