Purpose of the Job To manage procurement, credit control and accounts payable as part of the operations team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities Finance - Accounts Payable a Raise purchase orders for all items to be purchased b Assist with month-end reporting and transaction reconciliation queries c Manage the Accounts inbox i) Process incoming invoices ii) Query discrepancies iii) Ensure value for money iv) Manage queries.
Procurement and Order Processing a.
Place orders for equipment and manage the ordering process to ensure that the goods are received in the right place at the right time b.
Check the order on arrival and match invoice to delivery note c. Manage any returns, complaints or faults with the supplier d. Ensure that invoice is passed for payment e. Communicate with the teams on order status/progress f. Maintain licence information for clients.
g. Maintain an accurate stock list, h. Register carepacks i.
Gather quotes for equipment and recommend supplier based on cost and time if required.
Credit control a Report on Debtors' status each week b Send statements to clients c Chase payment dates via emails and phone calls d Seek to reduce Debtors days by promoting Direct Debit sign up and persistence in CC process e Manage Go cardless account f Share remittance and ensure invoices are allocated correctly g Communicate with clients regarding overpayments and credit allocations h Ensure client queries holding up payments are escalated.

Requirements Education At least A level educated Knowledge and Experience Some previous finance experience – and confident with numbers Knowledge of finance systems – Xero preferred Brave with IT– not afraid of IT terminology Worked in an MSP/distribution/IT accounts team Skills Customer Service Working under pressure Quality Focus Attention to Detail Multi-Tasking
