Accounts and Operations Assistant / £27k - £35k / Outskirts of Hailsham Client Details Client is an SME operating on the outskirts of Hailsham.
The role is largely a standalone position in the Accounts function, supporting the business in other areas of Operations.
Description As the Accounts and Operations Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Manage Accounts Payable and Receivables.
Checking orders, invoice processing, receipts and payments.
Bank statement reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies.
Monitor cash flow and report any issues.
Resolving payment / invoice queries.
VAT return preparation.
Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
Payroll preparation.
Staff on-boarding and holiday management.
Work closely with the Operations Manager to achieve the company's financial goals.
Providing support to Operations.
Profile To be successful in your application for Accounts and Operations Assistant, you should have: Experience working in a similar Accounts role.
Experience supporting the operations team within an SME.
High level of proficiency with Xero.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively.
