Accounts Administrator

Due to the continued development of the business, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join the Hardware division of the Sanbra Group.
The Hardware Division is made up of three well known companies in NI and ROI, Riddels, Allgrip and Herron & Son.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure all new customer accounts are set up properly according to Company guidelines.
Conduct trade references for new customers Making calls to customers and liaise with field sales team to ensure all outstanding payments are made within the agreed credit terms.
Liaise with management and the sales team on all overdue payments to decide what actions need to be taken with a view to maintaining the customer relationship at all times.
Allocation of payments received & posting of cash payments.
Lodgement of cash payments to bank Ensure that all bank reconciliations are completed Ensure account statements are emailed to customers at the start of each month Liaise with customers regarding any POD queries Liaise with Warehouse Stock Controller to ensure that where a credit note is raised that the corresponding stock has been returned into stock and that the credit note product price relates to the corresponding invoice.
Pass all credit notes onto the Sales Office Manager for sign off.
Wee submissions to be completed on a monthly basis.
Liaise with Purchasing Executive to reconcile supplier statements & post supplier payments to be then authorised by the finance management team.
EDI Amalgamated Run report on Intact and upload to Atlas platform 2 /3 times weekly Other ad hoc duties- look after petty cash payments, placing stationary orders, filing, managing incoming post, Xerox meter readings.
Posting supplier invoices and reconciliation of supplier statements.
Key Behaviours: Exemplary attention to detail Time management skills Task prioritisation Problem solver Clear communication skills Essential Requirements: Proven working experience in an accounts department Working experience of accounting software Ability to gather and analyse data competently Solid foundation in accounting principles and mathematics Desirable Requirements: Third level qualification in relevant area Experience in a similar role in the last 3 years.
