Accountant

Accountant - Belfast - Temporary Hays Accountancy and Finance are seeking an Accountant for our client on a temporary basis.
The role will include responsibilities such as supporting the Financial Accountant in financial management, ensuring accuracy and effective operation of financial functions, and providing customer-responsive and cost-effective services.
Your new role Assist with account books.
Develop and implement treasury strategies.
Maintain partnerships with officers and teams.
Review and recommend developments.
Produce accurate reports and official returns.
Manage Financial Control Section operations.
Advise on investment and borrowing.
Prepare accounts and develop projects.
Administer and develop financial systems.
Handle pension and tax accounts.
Manage loans fund accounts and capital schemes.
What you'll need to succeed Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
ACA, ACCA, or CIMA preferred.
Financial accounting experience, ideally in public sector or education.
Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
Proficient in financial systems and MS Office.
