Accountant Belfast, Co. Antrim (with hybrid working) The Organisation Our client is a community of people drawn together by Gods love, who seek to live wholeheartedly as followers of Jesus for the transformation of the world.
They are now looking for an Accountant to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis, working 22.5 hours per week.
The Benefits - Salary of £26,444 per annum for 22.5 hours per week (£44,074 FTE) - Group pension plan - 35 days holiday including Bank Holidays (pro rata) - Free onsite parking - Immediate start available This is a great opportunity for an experienced and detail-oriented accountant with an ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA qualification to join our clients dedicated organisation.

The Role As an Accountant, you will provide essential financial support to the organisation, focusing on reporting and the development of robust financial systems and processes.
Specifically, you will prepare and review management and year-end accounts, manage balance sheet reconciliations and support both internal and external audit processes.
In addition to delivering key financial insights, you will work closely with local treasurers and assist with various regulatory submissions to maintain compliance.
Additionally, you will: - Offer guidance on finance systems to treasurers - Support staff and volunteers in meeting finance team deadlines - Assist with Pension Scheme accounts About You To be considered as an Accountant, you will need: - To be a qualified accountant - Membership of a recognised accountancy body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or equivalent - Experience working in a busy finance setting - Experience using a financial accounting package - Excellent IT and Excel skills The closing date for this role is 6th December 2024.
