You will be required to work from our Edinburgh office twice a week.Meet the team:Our EMEA accounting department is not just about numbers - it's about fostering innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
We are currently looking for an Accountant to join our growing EMEA accounting team in Edinburgh.
As an accountant, you will play an integral part in the financial reporting of 2 legal entities ensuring processes are accurate, efficient and compliant.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make a difference and advance their career at a global company.Where you come in:You will post accurate month end journals across a number of areas including prepayments and accruals.You will perform balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis and will be the key accounting business partner for 2 legal entitiesYou will reconcile intercompany balances and transactions across multiple entities in different currencies and you will collaborate closely with external partners on statutory account preparation and filingYou will develop and analyse recommendations for process improvements with a focus towards efficiency, completeness, and accuracy.You will support the implementation and maintenance of systems and policies and procedures, to ensure adherence to company guidelines and proper internal controls for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and other relevant regulations.What makes you successful:You must have a background in a financial accounting roleYou will be part-qualified accountant (desirable).You have Oracle or other major ERP system experience and will have worked with different currencies and jurisdictionsYou will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong personal computer and business solutions software skills including advanced excel skills.You're a self-starter with a proven track record of multi-tasking abilities and meeting deadlinesWhat you'll get: (this section should not be modified)A front row seat to life changing CGM technology..A full and comprehensive benefits program.Growth opportunities on a global scale.Access to career development through in-house learning programs and/or qualified tuition reimbursement.An exciting and innovative, industry-leading organization committed to our employees, customers, and the communities we serve.Travel Required:0-5%Experience and Education Requirements: (this section should not be modified)Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience.Flex Workplace:Your primary location will be a home office.

You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/km).
