Job Summary As an Account Manager, you are a part of the UK TIS sales and marketing team.
Your objective is to manage all sales and any related marketing activities for the Interventional Oncology and Peripheral Intervention product groups within SE England & East Anglia.
By doing so, you will contribute directly to the continuous growth of Terumo.
As part of the sales team, you'll report directly the UK and Ireland Sales Manager.
Job Responsibilities As our Account Manager, you will be required to demonstrate a clear understanding and the relevant knowledge concerning the Terumo strategies and objectives, as well as all the processes and systems that are implemented within Terumo Europe, Terumo UK and the relevant business units.
You will focus primarily on the further development of the Interventional Radiology and Oncology business.
Consequently, you will be required to gain an extensive working knowledge concerning the relevant product range and services with a hands-on ability to demonstrate these in a live clinical setting.
You will have excellent negotiation skills, in order to drive top and bottom-line growth.
This will allow you to create a win-win situations with our customers.
Additionally, you will demonstrate excellent account planning skills to maintain a high level of qualitative relationships.
By fulfilling your role, you will demonstrate a sound knowledge of our competitors, their products and services, with a clear knowledge of possible strategies for gaining and retaining business.
You will follow and execute the relevant sales strategies as agreed by management.
You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with key accounts and contacts promoting the Terumo Corporation's commitment to the customer and market through our contribution to Society through Healthcare.
In addition, you will liaise regularly with the sales manager and provide regular territory and activity reports.
You will provide training and support services to customers, related to a particular product usage and good clinical practice.
In addition, you will participate in requests for clinical evaluations on territory and to be available to assist, when required, with the same on adjacent territories.
You will hold the correct level of certification to ensure legitimate access into hospitals and you will be required to successfully undertake any training deemed necessary for successful execution of your duties.
You will report regularly to customer services, concerning changes on the territory to maintain the optimum customer database.
Where, necessary, you will be required to manage consignment stock levels at certain customer sites.
You will also escort Terumo personnel on customer visits and to offer full support in a professional manner.
Attendance at conferences, congress and events will be required.
Profile Description You have obtained a bachelor's or master's degree, in a healthcare discipline or sales.
Extensive previous operational experience within a similar role will also qualify.
Previous successful sales experience will be regarded as an asset.
Experience within Interventional Radiology, specifically Interventional Oncology, combined with technical/device selling experience is highly desirable.
We will also consider professionals who have gained experience working within the interventional labs or clinical environments (e.g.
nurse, technician, Radiographer, …).
You will possess a solid understanding of the NHS and the ever-changing healthcare market.
You will be a great influencer and an excellent listener, persuasive and driven.
Your working will be a combination of face to face and virtual customer/internal contact.
You will be home-based, living within the designated territory and you are open to travel up to 80%.
