Account Manager - £35k to £42k (Hybrid, 4 days in office) A fantastic opportunity has opened for an experienced Account Manager to join a thriving digital team focused on elevating clients' online presence.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Account Management, preferably from an agency setting, who excels in building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
Role and Responsibilities The Account Manager will play a crucial role in client success, overseeing all aspects of account management to ensure the highest quality of service delivery.
Key responsibilities include: Client Relationship Management : Maintain strong, positive client relationships through regular communications—via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
Strategic Collaboration : Partner with the Technical SEO Team to outline effective strategies and schedules that align with each client's needs and objectives.
Service Quality Oversight : Ensure service delivery meets client expectations for both efficiency and satisfaction.
Client Development : Work with client development plans and internal processes to foster lasting client relationships.
Documentation and Reporting : Maintain thorough records of all client interactions and report regularly to the Managing Director on account status.
Monthly Reporting : Ensure timely delivery of monthly marketing reports, including an account summary covering key activities and alignment with client goals.
Revenue Growth : Identify and present new business opportunities within the client portfolio to support agency growth.
Performance Tracking : Analyze and monitor rankings, conversions, and traffic through various tools, ensuring clients' metrics align with goals.
Budget Management : Oversee client budgets, balancing the financial and strategic elements of each account.
Person Specification Successful candidates will bring a blend of technical know-how, communication skills, and personal qualities that contribute to effective account management.
Educational Attainment: University degree or equivalent preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Strong digital literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Ability to quickly adapt to new software and digital processes.
Some digital marketing knowledge is desirable, with a strong interest being essential.
SEO knowledge is an asset, though not a strict requirement.
Minimum 2 years' experience in SEO account management, ideally from an agency background.
Experience in a fast-paced environment, handling competing client demands with attention to detail.
Skills Required: Strong understanding of SEO practices.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with project management and resource management tools.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
Exceptional project and account planning skills for managing client expectations with precision.
Demonstrated passion for delivering on client business objectives.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven experience in managing a variety of SME clients successfully.
Personal Qualities: Natural communicator with a talent for nurturing strong relationships.
Strong commercial insight to identify business opportunities for clients.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an appreciation for technical and financial data.
A collaborative team player, able to manage client projects with calm professionalism.
Top-tier project/account management skills from initial brief interpretation to client delivery.
Positive, can-do attitude with an ability to prioritize across multiple client accounts.
