We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our team at DK Household Brands.
We are a premium housewares brand, with a portfolio of distinguished brands including Cole & Mason, Ken Hom, Culinare, Zyliss, Ad Hoc, and Swissmar.
The Account Manager's role is a critical and integral part of our team.
You will oversee a portfolio of retail clients and identify new pathways to the consumer market.
We're looking for someone with a solid track record in account management, a passion for exceptional customer service, and the ability to work independently.
Strong commercial awareness and excellent relationship-building skills are essential in this role.
Working as part of our UK Sales Team, you will be responsible for:   Key Responsibilities: Managing a £1m portfolio of around 75 independent key accounts in the North of England, acting as the primary point of contact for clients.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
Identifying opportunities for account growth, upselling, and cross-selling DK Household Brands' products and services.
Collaborating with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitoring account performance and analyse sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and new business opportunities.
Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with clients in alignment with company objectives.
Providing regular reports and updates on account activity, including forecasts, sales performance, and client feedback.
Staying informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
Attending industry events, trade shows, and meetings as needed to represent DK Household Brands (UK & Europe).
Relevant Skills and Experience:   Business acumen and commercial awareness Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential An impeccable attention to detail and well organised A flair for creativity & sales A positive nature and a proactive approach Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a proficient level of MS Office skills Excellent verbal and written communication.
Outstanding presentation skills.
Ideally a graduate, with relevant sales experience in either the housewares or FMCG sectors.
Proven sales ability with strong experience in managing a sales territory effectively.
Comfortable working with numbers and able to present data internally and externally to support business decisions.
A current, valid driving license is essential for this role.
This full-time, home-based role includes significant UK travel (Midlands to Newcastle) and visits to our Farnborough office twice a month (dependent on home location).
