Job Title: Account Manager Location: Remote working Salary - Circa £80K basic with £100K OTE About the Account Manager My client is a well-established issuer in the payments space.
After trading since 2008, they have been providing a suite of issuing services to Fintech, Banks & Financial Service businesses – owning around 80% of the UK & European Market.
After a merger with a large payment platform earlier in the year – they now have deep pockets to invest, a full payment platform offering and a brilliant reputation to continue the growth.
2024, is an exciting time & in particular across their Commercial payments division.
This has been identified as a key growth area, had millions invested & creates brilliant career opportunities.
This is a brand new role managing 2 of their largest banking partners.
Both organisations are in strong position & use a large suite of products from my client.
The goal of an account manager is to keep day to day partner satisfaction with focus on delivery & commercial goals.
As the Account Manager your responsibilities and duties will include: You will take responsibility in fostering 2 of the largest client relationships in the company – you will act as voice of the customer, identify product development and support day to day running Leads and ensures retention and maintenance of long-term relationships with clients based on the strategic direction of the client's business.
Ensures understanding of the client business to identify new product or solution opportunities.
Have a deep understanding of the internal product suite to maximise revenue & product usage Is responsible and accountable for the accurate and timely forecasting of all revenue lines on a monthly basis.
Validates monthly billing to the client to ensure accuracy and timely issuance of invoices.
Ensures revenue targets are met.
Collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify, create, and deliver the successful closure of cross sell opportunities of products and services.
Fully understands the client organisational structure and strategy with the ability to navigate and influence within a matrix organisation ( often large & complex with it being banks) Focus on renewal of client contracts – negotiation is key Stays abreast of industry trends, regulations, and competitive products to strategically identify and target sales opportunities.
Essential Skills and Competencies of the Account Manager is: Experience in managing relationships within the commercial payments ecosystem Previous success in managing fintech & banking relationships Ability to build long standing relationships focus on product understanding and adapting to suit each relationship Commercially driven – proven success in increasing revenue from partners Remote based, happy to travel to meet clients Keen to work in a growing environment, get stuck in with variety of tasks.
