Role Overview: The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing existing client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and maximising account growth.
The role involves understanding clients' needs, providing tailored solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Although the position is based in Manchester, it covers a national client base, requiring regular travel across the UK.
Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as their main point of contact for all account-related matters.
Client Retention and Growth: Identify opportunities to upsell additional products or services, ensuring clients are fully utilising the software and recognising its value.
Customer Support and Issue Resolution: Address any client concerns or issues promptly, working with internal teams to provide effective solutions.
Regular Client Reviews: Conduct regular reviews with clients to discuss their credit risk management needs, gather feedback, and present new features or updates.
Account Planning: Develop account plans to outline strategies for client retention, growth, and overall satisfaction.
Contract Renewals: Manage the renewal process for existing contracts, negotiating terms to maintain long-term relationships.
Collaboration with Sales and Product Teams: Partner with business development, sales, and product teams to ensure clients receive solutions that meet their evolving needs.
Travel Requirements: Visit clients as needed to maintain relationships, conduct reviews, and provide in-person support when necessary.
Qualifications and Experience: Experience in Credit Risk Software or FinTech: At least 3 years of account management experience within the credit risk software industry or a similar FinTech environment.
Strong Interpersonal Skills: Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to engage with clients at all levels.
Customer-Centric Mindset: A proactive approach to understanding client needs and delivering exceptional service.
Negotiation Skills: Ability to manage contract renewals and negotiate favourable terms for the company.
Strategic Account Management: Experience in identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts.
Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel nationally to visit clients and attend industry events.
Based in Manchester: The candidate should be based in or near Manchester for easy access to the head office.
