Account Manager Main purpose of the role: To secure viable, profitable business for the company, through the development and maintenance of an appropriate client base from the Bespoke Promotional Textile /Premia Industry, and through doing so , to contribute to the successful achievement of the company's objectives.
Main responsibilities: The Account Manager will be responsible for: Support Account Director with the growth and development of three clients circa £2.5m per annum Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales – especially managing personal time and productivity.
Plan and manage business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed market development strategy.
Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.
Maintain existing sales T/O within accounts as well as looking for areas to grow and develop Locally / Globally.
Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.
Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
Record, analyse, report and administer according to systems and requirements.
Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
Skills and experience: 2-3 years Account Management / Project management experience Key account experience.
Tenacious and highly motivated.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to work autonomously and well under pressure.
Ability to translate client brief into range of product that meet clients expectations.
Highly organized, methodical, and ability to multi-task successfully.
Excellent administrative skills.
A strong level of computer literacy especially is using MS Office Full driving license and access to own vehicle.
Ability to travel to customer sites throughout the UK, and globally if required.
Salary Circa £35k Bonus.
