Anaphite was founded in 2018 and is headquartered in central Bristol in the Southwest of the UK Summary This is an exciting time to join the organisation as an Account Manager to strengthen the Commercial Team's relationships with our customers and suppliers.
Anaphite is working with some of the biggest names in the automotive and battery industries.
The Account Manager will work at the heart of the organisation as part of the Commercial team in close collaboration with the Technical and Operational teams to collect customer requirements, deliver customer projects and build our customer service and sales processes.
Your role will influence product development, marketing and communications, business development, commercial strategy, sales and organisational growth.
The Account Manager plays a vital role in the Anaphite customer experience.
You will be a confident communicator and approach work in an organised way.
As Account Manager you will often be our customers' first point of contact within the organisation and responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities/Duties: Present and explain Anaphite's offer and its advantages to existing and new customers at trade shows and in meetings both on-line and in person; Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers and suppliers, championing the benefits of Anaphite's technology; Develop Anaphite's customer service and sales processes working with the Operations and Finance Teams; Work intimately with customers to understand their needs, requirements and processes.
Represent the voice of the customer internally in Product Development, defining requirements for customer delivery and developing customer specific value proposition; Develop and deliver customer account plans with the Commercial & Partnerships Lead.
Champion the use of Anaphite's CRM system to effectively track, report, forecast and plan commercial opportunities; Support the Commercial & Partnerships Lead and CEO in developing and negotiating commercial and legal agreements; Support Marketing and Communications Manager to produce content for public and customer marketing and communications campaigns; Schedule customer projects including timelines and resource planning with Team managers; Manage customer projects to completion by working closely with the technical teams and Operations to ensure timely delivery.
Ensure compliance with data and quality control processes; Provide excellent customer service to Anaphite's customers; Deputise for Commercial & Partnerships Lead where necessary and International travel to represent Anaphite at events and in customer and supplier interactions.
Required Proficiencies/Experience Essential: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Management, Science or Engineering or equivalent experience; Extensive experience building relationships with customers, partners or suppliers to deliver on strategic goals; Experience maintaining Customer Relationship Management systems (e.g.
Salesforce or HubSpot) to track and report on progress, forecast and plan future work; Experience scheduling and managing complex projects, including resource and measuring project success; Experience working sensitively across teams to deliver outcomes; Resilience and adaptability working in a dynamic environment; Excellent written, verbal communication and presentational skills.
Appreciation for communicating with non-native English speakers; Ability to demonstrate credibility in both technical and commercial environments across different levels of seniority; Excellent organisational skills and ability to balance competing priorities; Analytical skills across a range of types of data; Technically minded, interest in technical developments or willingness to learn; There is an expectation that you will be able to travel both within the UK and internationally as part of this role and You may also be asked to work hours flexibly during certain periods.
Desirable: Sales experience, ideally in a chemicals or automotive market; Experience negotiating legal and commercial agreements; Formal training or education in business administration (if degree is in a different subject than above) and Project management qualification such as Agile or PRINCE2.
