The role We're now looking for a motivated & experienced Account Handler (Commercial), to join us here at the Jensten Group, as we've recently inherited a big book of business (mainly Property) from another Broker.
We arrange insurance either directly with policyholders or via other insurance brokers who come to us because of our range of products and excellent service levels.
Reporting to the manager, the main purpose of the role is to retain & renew the clients from the book of business, do any MTA's as required, and help with any other queries our clients may have.
The role is based from our Cheadle office, and we offer hybrid working options once settled into the role.
Some key objectives & responsibilities will include: Offer and present insurance solutions including insurance policies and other risk management solutions, with purpose to secure renewal and/or new business.
To assist in team performance by regular communication with colleagues and manager to establish and raise concerns and provide solutions.
Identify and pursue cross-selling, up-selling and similar opportunities.
Utilise all leads provided to you by the company and develop new and efficient ways to increase the quote volume.
Achieve or exceed agreed volume of Quotes/Sales/Income generated from all marketing sources including own personal prospecting activity.
To understand client's business operations, opportunities and risks and their approach to risk management and insurance.
To ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g.
FCA About you As one of our Account Handlers, you'll have excellent communication and written skills with a keen eye for detail.
You will be the type of person who wants to constantly develop, and you can expect fantastic career progression, training & development within the role and Insurance Industry in general.
