Job Title: Account Director
Location: Remote
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 on the base + double OTE, 15% commission on new logo and 10% on existing. As they continue to expand their footprint in the market, they are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Account Director to join the team. This is a key strategic role responsible for managing high-profile client accounts, driving growth, and building long-term relationships within the IT solutions landscape. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across assigned client accounts. Act as the main point of contact, understanding their business needs and aligning our services to add value. Business Development: Proactively identify new opportunities for growth within existing accounts. Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to develop strategies to expand services, upsell, and cross-sell our portfolio of IT solutions. Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, working closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure seamless delivery of services that exceed client expectations. Contract Management: Lead contract negotiations and renewals, ensuring terms are aligned with business objectives and that client satisfaction is maintained throughout the contract lifecycle. Revenue Growth: Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by growing existing accounts and identifying new opportunities for managed services, cloud solutions, and IT consulting. Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in IT solutions, managed services, cloud computing, and cybersecurity to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation in the market. Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, project management, and technical teams to ensure smooth execution of projects and alignment with client expectations. Qualifications & Skills Proven track record of managing and growing large-scale IT accounts in the managed services or IT solutions space. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and digital transformation strategies. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage at the C-level. Ability to create and execute strategic account plans, with a focus on long-term client satisfaction and growth. Results-driven, with a passion for exceeding sales targets and driving business growth. Experience in contract management and handling complex service agreements. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex client environments. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, dynamic team environment. Education & Experience 5+ years of experience in account management or business development within the IT services, managed services, or technology sectors. Experience working with mid-market to enterprise clients is preferred.
