Account Assistant (Accounts Receivable)

We are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant (Accounts Receivable) to join our clients award-winning business in Ayr.Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, the successful candidate will assist with all aspects of Sales Ledger, Credit Control & Cashbook.Job Responsibilities Include:All aspects of credit control.Setting up new customer accounts and allocating credit limits.
Maintaining update to date sales ledger accounts.
Dealing with disputed invoices and resolve in a timely manner.Post cashbook transactions.Deposit cheques at the bank weekly.Answer telephone, redirect calls and take messages.
Distribute incoming mail and process incoming / outgoing mail.Assist visitors to the business, ensuring they follow correct procedures for signing in.General admin duties as required.Skills & Experience Required:Previous experience in similar role.Excellent communication skills.Be able to work to tight deadlines.
