100+ plants worldwide, we drive new forms of energy and information to each and every corner of the earth.About The RoleWe have a fantastic opportunity for an Accessories Stores Coordinator to join our team in Eastleigh.
This is a site-based position that covers two independent accessory businesses (Cable Accessories and Connectivity).
In this role, you will lead a team of 10+ stores employees, including Team Leaders, and will be responsible for managing and improving the daily stores operations.ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day activity within the Cable Accessories and Connectivity Stores.Directly manage the Connectivity Stores Team Leader, Cable Accessories Stores Team Leader, and respective Stores teams.
Regularly perform management spot checks of goods-in to ensure accuracy and quality, liaising with relevant internal teams where required.Through managing monthly stock-check cycles, ensure stock levels are accurate and updated on SAP.Ensure that criteria are met for end of year stock audits with external and internal accounts.Alongside the Accessories Supply Chain Manager, develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency of the stores system (via kanban, continuous replenishment, just-in-time, etc).Ensure that picking activity is performed efficiently to maintain continuous flow of material to production.Proactively manage the picking process to maintain aged stock and inventory of finished goods at as low a level as possible.Ensure that health and safety awareness is always maintained.Support the Accessories Supply Chain Manager and Logistics Coordinator by proactively reporting on stores issues.Qualifications & Requirements The ideal candidate will hold previous experience within a Manufacturing, Production, Engineering, Operations environment.Proactive, with strong communication skills.Hold strong leadership and people management skills, experience of coaching and mentoring teams and individuals.Ability to work and manage workload independently.Experience of SAP, MRP, MES & MS Office software.Sound experience with supply chain/warehouse operations.What we offer 25 days holiday plus statutory holidaysDefined Contribution pension scheme and generous life assuranceYes Share Scheme – annual enrolmentPrivate healthcare – medical cover for self and immediate familyHealth Care Cash Plan – scheme which provides reimbursement of optical, dental and chiropody fees up to set limits.24/7 free and confidential employee counselling serviceOn-line Language Learning AccessEnhanced maternity and paternity leave and payGenerous sick pay arrangementsEE Mobile DiscountsDell Advantage discountsRewards Portal – discounts on major retailersCycle to work schemeFree onsite parkingTransition to Retirement PolicyVitality schemeFree Flu JabYour application data will be treated according to our Data Protection Policy.
