Accessories Designer

Contract: Part-time 22.8Hrs per week Location: Hybrid - Soho/Work from Home Collaborating with the Design Manager, you'll design and develop the Accessories range from initial sketches to the final product.
Your role will involve capturing the brand's DNA and vision to create a design-driven Accessories collection that truly reflects Russell & Bromley.
You'll work closely with the design team to ensure the creation of an innovative and cohesive product offering for our customers.
Building strong, collaborative relationships across all departments involved in the design process will be a key part of your responsibilities.

About the Role Working with the Design manager on all Accessories product that reflects the end use as well and the brands DNA.
Working alongside the Design team to driving the brand in a conceptual, boundary-breaking way to ensure we continue to maintain our position in the marketplace as the go to everyday luxury footwear brand.
Researching, designing, and building balanced, exciting, and new collections encompassing seasonal trends, theme, colour and the Russell and Bromley handwriting to answer the business strategies and targets, from initial ideas through to final sample.
Together with the rest of the design team create seasonal mood boards, colour palettes, key element boards in line with seasonal theme and present them to the product team counterparts Carry out seasonal trend and technical research to ensure ranges are continually evolving and always world class.
Work together with the product team to develop and source fabrics and trims relevant for the end use of the selected ranges, adding newness and improving the existing product offer.
Responsible for the creation and delivery of all tech packs for your products.
Working closely with product team to achieve the product aesthetic within price and technical constraints.
Ensuing the tech packs are updates and correct from 1st proto all the way through the SMS.
Responsible for keeping all design documents to date throughout the design process.
Work with the product team during the process to design the ranges within option framework and margin targets.
Visit factories in Europe through the design process.
Presentations of ranges throughout the design process and to the wider company as needed.
Build relationships within the team and across the business to ensure all aspects and benefits behind the product are communicated to all customers Reporting into the Design manager, you will be ensuring that all design deadlines and key development dates in the critical path are met.
Participate in all relevant design meetings To be aware of and contribute to the delivery of business targets.
Take on ad hoc projects or other responsibilities as appropriate About You 4 – 7 years of Accessories experience Strong aesthetic sense, with a passion for the footwear sector and an understanding of market needs Experience of building a domestic and internal product offer A strong communicator both verbal and written Strong presentation skills and proven ability to liaise seamlessly with other members of the business and externally Excellent Adobe skills Due to the high volumes of applications that we receive, we are regrettably unable to personally reply to them all.
