Academics currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Computing to work at a partnership Ofsted rated academy of 'Good' in Stoke-on-Trent.
This position will be full time with an immediate start after the Christmas break (January 2025).
This role will be on a long term basis until Easter, however for the right candidate this role does have the strong possibility of becoming extended until the end of the summer term (July 2025).

Ideally, for this role, you will have experience of teaching both to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, and you will have a clear focus on engaging the student's interest in Computing/ICT.
Role Requirements Hold the relevant Computing/ICT qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons) with UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS).
Be a confident communicator, alongside excellent behaviour management, and can build good rapport with students and fellow staff.
Deliver exciting and engaging Computing/ICT lessons using your own initiative and have a good knowledge of the national curriculum.
Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
Please be aware that your rate will be dependent upon experience, prior qualifications, and the client rate that is available.
