LTF has partnered with a secondary school in Long Eaton to appoint a skilled academic mentor to provide 1-1 tutoring to students.
This role involves assisting KS3 & KS4 students across various subjects and supporting students working below expected levels.
The school seeks an ambitious, self-motivated individual who can work independently with students to promote academic progress across a range of abilities.
Roles & Responsibilities: Supporting students in KS3 & KS4 across various subjects Providing instruction to KS3 students who are not attending school, covering a range of subjects using the school's resources Offering one-on-one tutoring to students outside the traditional classroom environment Working with students who are unable to attend mainstream lessons due to anxiety or mental health challenges Collaborating with subject teachers to develop effective strategies for student improvement The schools are looking to appoint someone who: Be a skilled tutor or teaching asisstant with at least one year of experience Have experience supporting students on a 1-1 basis or in small groups Possess strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly An in date Enhanced DBS is a requirement for this role If you feel you would be the right fit for this role, then please apply through submitting your CV.
