Job Title: Academic Mentor and Support Professional We are seeking an experienced Academic Mentor and Support Professional to join our team at The Grange Therapeutic School.
As a key member of our academic support team, you will work closely with pupils, teachers, and other staff to provide individualised support and guidance to ensure academic success.
About the Role: In this role, you will be responsible for providing academic support to pupils in classes and on activities, promoting pupil wellbeing, and working collaboratively with teachers to develop effective learning strategies.
Your duties will include supporting pupils with lessons, activities, and vocational learning, as well as contributing to safeguarding and pupil welfare initiatives.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a strong educational background, excellent communication skills, and experience working with pupils who have social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
You will also require GCSE C/4 or above in English and Maths or equivalent.
