Abacus are currently looking for a HGV1 driver for a tramping role basked in Hermitage.
Job Overview Monday - Friday Start time Monday 06.00 £16.00 - £18.00 per hour (40 hours per week) Night out allowance Responsibilities Collections and deliveries of wood chippings and pellets to customers HGV1 driving but must be happy to drive HGV2 when required Conduct Drivers checks each day and report any defects Load and unload securely, ensuring that all items are properly strapped down for transport Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any potential delays or issues Uphold high standards of customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries Qualifications Valid HGV 1 (C+E) driving licence No more than 6 points Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices Excellent time management skills For more information and an immediate start contact our Andover Branch today!
