Ab Initio Engineer

Services Engineer Ab Initio – Nottingham We are hiring an Ab Initio engineer for an interesting project with a well-known financial organisation in Nottingham.
The role will be working on an AWS stack, working on existing code to enhance and improve.
You'll be part of a team working in an Agile environment where Pair programming is key.

Key Skills: Extensive Ab Initio experience and knowledge of current trends and technologies Analyse existing code and enhance them to improve performance, sharing and working with the team, to drive best practice Review and enhancement of existing code, on a cloud based infrastructure and the AWS deployed infrastructure Work with internal teams to understand, define solutions and resolve issues Tech Skills: Ab Initio AWS Unix Jenkins Pair Programming Code reviews The role will be 3 months to start with performance based extensions planned.
The role will require 2 days PW onsite; this is non-negotiable.
Experience of finance or working in a regulated environment would be a plus.
