Theservice has been designed by Sheffield Hallam University who work in closecollaboration with NHS teams to support the delivery and evaluation of theservice.The ActiveTogether service launched in Sheffield in 2022 and is currently expanding tonew sites across South Yorkshire in Barnsley, Rotherham and Doncaster.
ActiveTogether South Yorkshire will provide equitable, multi-modal and personalisedprehabilitation and rehabilitation support that meets the needs of patientsacross the region and generates evidence for a commissioned service.

Main duties of the job As a Clinical Psychologist you'll applypsychological knowledge, theory and practice to support psychologicalassessment, interventions and clinical advice on psychological aspects ofdisease for selected high risk patients.
This may include a combination of faceto face, virtual, group based and one to one support psychological assessment,interventions and clinical advice on psychological aspects of disease forselected high risk patients.
This may include a combination of face to face,virtual, group based and one to one support.The Provider will support the widerActive Together team to be psychologically informed and appropriately trainedin the provision psychological advice and support for low to moderate riskpatients.Participate as a senior clinician inthe development of high quality, responsive and accessible services.
This willinclude advising both service and professional management about what psychologicaland/or organisational matters need addressing.Exercise responsibility for systematicgovernance of psychological practice with the services.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Undergraduate Degree in Psychology that meets the standards of accreditation of the British Psychological Society (BPS) Registration with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and accreditation as a Chartered Psychologist of the BPS.
Evidence of continuing professional development as recommended by the BPS.
