Who are we looking for?
We're seeking an experienced 3rd Line IT Engineer to lead internal engineering projects with a focus on Microsoft 365 and Azure, while providing critical support to our Helpdesk team by resolving escalated issues.
As a pivotal member of our IT department, you will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on DevOps, Identity, and Infrastructure projects, contributing to innovative solutions that shape our company's future.

What you'll be doing: Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of projects within Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystems.
Serve as the primary escalation point for 2nd Line support teams, delivering advanced troubleshooting and resolution.
Collaborate with the wider engineering teams on DevOps, Identity, and Infrastructure projects.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT operations and processes, ensuring best practices are followed.
Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and the Helpdesk team.
Ensure all work aligns with security and compliance standards, particularly in the context of SC clearance requirements.
Support the maturity of IT operations through familiarity with frameworks like ITIL or COBIT What we're looking for: Proven experience in a 3rd Line IT Engineer role or equivalent.
Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 and Azure administration, including day-to-day operations.
Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert or a comparable certification (or ability to achieve certification within the role).
Familiarity with administering Linux servers.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
Knowledge of identity management and infrastructure systems.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to haves: Experience working in or supporting the cybersecurity industry.
Familiarity with ITIL, COBIT, or similar frameworks for maturing IT processes and driving operational excellence.
Passion for professional development and learning new technologies.
