As the Trade Marketing Manager the business is looking for someone who can come onboard and implement tangible improvements whilst allowing the successful candidate to put their own stamp on a growing business.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and execute trade marketing plans in line with company sales strategies and goals Collaborate with local category and sales team to create and execute promotional programs and marketing initiatives for trade channels Leading the organisation and execution of trade events programme (examples below) Trade Fairs London Toy Fair Spring Fair Toymaster Show Choice Marketing Show Harrogate Nursery Fair Garden Centre Expo Support Ravensburger outlet stores with marketing materials Organise the design, production, and distribution of POS materials including shop-in-shop and branded fixtures, ensuring they are delivered and installed on time and within budget In conjunction with Category Managers, co-ordinate retailer specific trade events Collaborate with International trade marketing and category team by submitting bi-annual material requests from the group Work with the Category Managers and sales team to ensure POS materials are effectively placed in-store to maximize impact Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effective POS materials Manage point of sale and event/exhibition inventory including regularly updating point of sale and marketing information on PixSell and SANA sales tools Develop trade marketing literature including trade catalogue and POS literature Coordinate retailer instore demonstrations in collaboration with Category Managers and National Account Managers Synchronise product data flow between Category team and Customer Data Support Analyst Coordinate internal bi-annual sales previews with category and sales team Maintain head office showroom displays Work with Digital Marketing Manager on trade CRM programme Manage budgets and track ROI for all trade marketing programs The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in channel marketing, consumer product is a must, toy industry preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software Experience working with mass retailers is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven track record of developing and executing successful trade marketing programs
