Technical Lead (.NET) Manchester Our client is a leading brand in the Sports Betting, Gaming, and Interactive Entertainment industry.
They are looking for a Technical Lead due to growth of the business and busy project road map.
Position Overview As a Tech Lead, you'll be responsible for overseeing the delivery of projects within a cross-functional team.
Partnering closely with the Product Owner, you will drive end-to-end delivery, ensuring high-quality technical results while managing risk and maintaining an efficient, sustainable process.
Key Responsibilities - Project Management: Lead the delivery of complex projects with a focus on predictability, quality, and efficiency.
Oversee delivery metrics and Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) - Risk Management: Collaborate with Product and Development teams to anticipate and address technical and architectural risks, including system reliability and data security.
- Design Oversight: Contribute to design reviews and hold responsibility for system designs within the team.. - Mentorship: Guide and develop engineers, providing career support, performance reviews, and mentorship.
- Recruitment: Participate in hiring, from conducting interviews to assisting with team planning.
- Knowledge Sharing: Lead workshops, offer technical advisory, and contribute to cross-functional technical initiatives.
Technical attributes - .Net Proficiency: Strong skills in .Net - Experience in frameworks like Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- Proven background in RESTful APIs and web services.
- Cloud Platforms: Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- DevOps Tools: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab.
- SQL Database experience - Familiarity with scripting (Python/Bash), containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), and microservices architecture.
