The role We're looking for an experienced Social Media and Content Manager to shape and implement the social media and content strategies for our varied clients.
This role involves overseeing social media accounts, crafting engaging content, analysing performance, and creating strategies in line with client objectives.
A strong grasp of social media trends across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok is essential, as is the ability to tailor content to each platform.
Excellent copywriting skills are a must too, adapting effectively for a wide range of clients.
The main responsibilities of the role are: · Manage social media accounts for clients, maintaining brand consistency across all platforms.
· Develop, schedule, and execute social media content calendars, creating vibrant, original posts that attract attention and convey campaign messages effectively.
· Offer recommendations on the most suitable platforms and strategies to support clients' goals and achieve campaign success.
· Write and edit copy for a range of digital channels, ensuring a unified voice and tone.
· Monitor performance metrics and adjust plans to optimise outcomes.
· Build and foster community and influencer engagement, expanding client networks effectively.
· Stay up-to-date with digital trends, explore new engagement opportunities, and identify emerging platforms relevant to campaign audiences.
· Work with the wider Millrace team to produce polished, impactful written and visual content on larger projects.
· Research, write, and publish engaging blog posts and articles that reflect each clients voice and marketing strategy, driving traffic and engagement and sharing to social media platforms.
· Monitor engagement across platforms to build brand loyalty and interaction with audiences.

Balancing creativity with strong writing skills, you'll bring both professionalism and social media flair to the role.
A sociable team player who integrates seamlessly, you'll hit the ground running while confidently managing tasks independently.
Agency life will come naturally to you, as you navigate varied client accounts and adapt quickly to different styles and requirements.
· A minimum of 2 years' agency experience with a proven track record in content creation and social media management.
· Proficiency in social media platforms and current best practices.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an adaptable style suitable for diverse client industries.
· Strong commercial awareness, with the confidence to discuss budgets and manage client accounts profitability.
· Quickly adapt to the offering at Millrace, with the ability to spot and suggest further opportunities within existing accounts to pass to the senior leadership team.
· A genuine interest in purpose-driven marketing.
· Video editing skills, including editing footage tailored to social media platforms.
· Expert using Canva · Exceptional multitasking abilities and a proven capacity to thrive in the fast-paced agency environment.
· Analytical skills with experience using social media analytics tools.
· Able to capturing content on-site to create compelling visual stories (highly desirable but not essential) · Welsh speaker is desirable but not essential.
