The Role: As part of the role, automation in PowerShell is key to developing, supporting and delivering key IT platform services and projects.
Primarily Microsoft based but opportunities to be involved in other areas too.
This role is varied to support your continuous development and will also have responsibility for day-to-day operations.
Experience in PowerShell, Active Directory and Group Policy is essential.
The role is full time, and open ended.

About your team: As part of the Cloud Platforms Team, you will be joining 5 other IT Platform professionals.
The responsibility of the team spans across the whole University and ranges from providing expert advice to the wider IT Services department on the University's critical platform services.
This friendly team is responsible for providing expert support and development on a wide range of platforms such as, but not limited to: Windows Server, Active Directory, PKI, Azure Infrastructure, Microsoft Entra, VMware hypervisor, Oracle Linux, In-house web-based management tools.
To be able to undertake this role you will: Be enthusiastic and experienced in PowerShell Have an understanding and have expert knowledge in key Microsoft technologies Be ready to engage with new systems and services and want to develop your professional skills Be ready to undertake day-to-day operations, incidents and changes.
