About you: We are looking to hire a dedicated and reliable 2nd Chef to assist the cook with ingredient preparation as well as perform all washing and cleaning duties required in the kitchen.
The 2nd Chef responsibilities include assisting with stock control, removing garbage, washing, and clearing refrigerators, freezers, and storage rooms, assist the head Chef to run our kitchen smoothly.
To be successful as a 2nd Chef, you should exercise exceptional time management and ensure that all duties are completed promptly.
Ultimately should be able to comply with all food health and safety regulations.
The selected candidate must be able to demonstrate the following: Effective communication skills.
Experience in hospitality is required, plus knowledge of food health and safety regulations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to work in a team Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think fast.
Speaking Portuguese or Spanish would be an advantage.
(Not mandatory).
