Job summary We are seeking 1 enthusiastic care worker to join our multi-disciplinaryteam at Barnsley hospital main theatres to provide care for patients duringtheir time in the Operating Theatre Department.
You will help prepare theatre,support qualified staff with care of patients through all areas and participatein cleaning of clinical and staff areas.
Duties include the transport ofpatients within our department and others.
Main duties of the job Participation in provision of a 24-hour service including shift work, weekends and night duty is a requirement of this post.Work in support of and under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN)/Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) providing perioperative care and assistance to patients within defined parameters specified by the RN/OPD.Provide basic patient care and document that care in the patient records.Your interview date will be 13/02/2025 About us Please note that the Trust reserves the right to close aposition early.Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a high performingTrust achieving a Good rating in our most recent Care Quality Commission(CQC) assessment and achieving significant progress in the delivery of ourstrategic objectives.
