Job summary The interview date for this role is 12th December.This role presentsan exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and evolving service, playing a keyrole in shaping its future development.As Service Manager,you will collaborate closely with Clinical Leads, Matrons, and the ClinicalBusiness Unit (CBU) leadership team, which includes the Clinical Director,Associate Director of Operations, Associate Director of Nursing and Head ofMidwifery.
In this role, youwill provide operational expertise, ensuring national and corporate targets areachieved and that strategic objectives are translated into actionable plans toconsistently deliver high-quality care.We are seeking ahighly skilled and accomplished individual who can drive forward our vision forcontinued improvement.
To succeed in this role, you will need exceptionalinfluencing and negotiation abilities, a proven history of effectivecollaboration with clinical teams, and experience in meeting performancestandards and deadlines.The successfulcandidate will be part of the Clinical Business Unit for Womens, Paediatrics,and Clinical Services, and will have the Obstetrics & Gynaecologyand Acute Paediatrics portfolio.This is a fixedterm/Secondment Opportunity role for 12 months.

Main duties of the job As the Service Manager, you willensure the provision of high-quality care by managing your departmentsefficiently and effectively.

Qualifications Essential Post graduate level certificate or equivalent in management (or working towards) Level of knowledge, training and experience which equates to masters level qualification Track record of undertaking and successfully completing change management Knowledge and Awareness Desirable Awareness of 18 weeks Awareness of Choose and Book Knowledge and experience of hospital information systems Understanding of the environment and activity issues related to the CSUs.
Knowledge of process redesign methodology Breadth of management across different health care settings
