NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay.
This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.
However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.

NHS Lothian's Procurement Department is looking for an enthusiastic Procurement Team Lead to consolidate its development into a centre of excellence.
They will join a high-achieving, ambitious and supportive team, dedicated to providing our clinicians with value-added procurement solutions and the very best care for our patients.
Reporting to the Assistant Procurement Managers, the role is a permanent position and the successful candidate will oversee the day to day operations and the management of Buyers and Lead Buyers within our Category Teams, and help us effectively to implement our strategic sourcing workplan.
The Procurement Team Lead will work with colleagues across the organisation including clinical staff to provide the procurement solutions that ensure the very best care for our patients and wider finance colleagues to drive value-for-money and cost-effective outcomes.
They will also work with colleagues from other boards and National Procurement to develop optimal procurement solutions on a regional and national basis.
