Software engineering has many roles including development, test, architecture, delivery management, people leadership, DEVOPS.

You will also work with our support teams to ensure operability in service.
Apprentice Programme: As a Software Engineering Apprentice you will be studying towards a BSc in Digital and Technology Solutions, following the Software Engineering Pathway.
This is a Gold accredited programme by Tech Partnership Degrees.
For the duration of this 4 year programme you will be given one day per week in which to attend Manchester Metropolitan University.
For the other four days you will be working in the business, applying your university learning and gaining a breadth of experience within the software function.
At the end of the apprenticeship you will be working as a software engineer within the Thales UK businesses.
Requirements: Candidates will need a minimum of 104 UCAS tariff points at A Level (Grades BCC) or an equivalent e.g.
BTEC DMM.
They will also require five GCSEs grade 9-4 (A-C) including English and Maths.
Right to Work in the UK for the duration of the 4 year programme.
