Our client, a top rated European-headquartered law firm, is globally recognised for its shipping expertise.
The firm has a strong presence in the world's most active shipping clusters, and Maritime law is a cornerstone practice for the firm; they're known as one of the biggest names in the industry, and the lawyers relied upon by maritime industry clients for counsel concerning the industry's most high profile and business-critical cases and transactions.In addition, and complementary to their maritime practice, the firm has a strong offshore energy practice which focuses on the development and finance of offshore energy projects (specifically those involving FSRU, FLNG and offshore drilling assets), and acquisitions and divestitures in the offshore energy sector.
The team advises on project tendering, vessel construction, EPCIC, financing, sale and purchase and leasing arrangements in respect of FSRUs, LNGCs, FLNG, FPSOs/FSOs, drilling units and drillships, and handles a wide variety of projects in the oil and gas sectors.
