MW Groundworks Ltd, a family-run business since 1992, is based in South Lanarkshire, Central Scotland.
Over the years, we have established a strong financial foundation, enabling us to successfully deliver a wide range of projects across Scotland and Northern England, including Civil Engineering, Landscaping, and Site Clearance.We are currently looking for an experienced Estimator to assist our Contract Managers and Quantity Surveyors in pricing tenders, preparing estimates, and managing tasks following contract awards.Main ResponsibilitiesIdentify tenders suitable for pricingDownloading tender documents.
Analysis of tender requirementProvide detailed quotationsCollation of information & completion of Bills of QuantitiesPreparation of tender submissionsLog and track submitted tendersApprove & monitor successful tendersFacilitate post contract award handover to delivery teamsAdministration & filing tasks for Estimating Team.RequirementsMinimum of 3 years' experience in the construction industry, preferably in Procurement, Civil Engineering, or Estimating/Quantity Surveying roles.Valid driving licence.Exceptional attention to detail.Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.Ability to meet deadlines and effectively prioritise workload.Interest in career development and progression.This role offers a fantastic opportunity to advance your career in a dynamic, fast-paced company.The ideal candidate will be precise and methodical in their work, with excellent interpersonal skills.
